ART 22nd May- MICROWAVE PUFFY PAINT

LET´S GET MESSY!

Homemade Microwave Puffy Paint

DIY ( Do It Yourself) paint that puffs up in the microwave?
Sounds like a surefire hit to me!
Quick, easy, and SUPER fun!

You Need:
-one cup of flour
 - 3 teaspoons of baking powder
 -1 teaspoon of salt
 - water ( enough water to make it the consistency of pancake batter)
- some food colouring

Mix everything together, except the food colouring. It depends, how many colours do you want, put your mix into plastic/ sandwich bags. Then you put some food colouring drops into the bags, then squish them to mix the colours.. It´s part of the fun!;))
Rubber band the baggies like you would if you were icing a cake and snip off the teeniest little bit of the tip.
Paint away! When you’re finished, pop the painting into the microwave for 30-45 seconds and watch the paint puff up and grow – such fun! It is completely dry out of the microwave so you don´t have to worry about any extra messes or accidents as our pile of paintings grew.
